This story is made out of haiku (that's plural, but it doesn't have an s on it, because it's a Japanese word.) Each line must be a haiku! And together they will all tell a story that hopefully makes some kinda sense and/or is hylarious.
In case you're a little fuzzy on what a haiku is, and also to make this description extra long to test and make sure the long description bug is fixed, here's a description from Wikipedia:
Haiku is a short form of Japanese poetry in three phrases, typically characterized by three qualities:
1. The essence of haiku is "cutting" (kiru). This is often represented by the juxtaposition of two images or ideas and a kireji ("cutting word") between them, a kind of verbal punctuation mark which signals the moment of separation and colours the manner in which the juxtaposed elements are related.
2. Traditional haiku often consist of 17 "on" (also known as morae though often loosely translated as "syllables"), in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 "on" respectively.
3. A kigo (seasonal reference), usually drawn from a saijiki, an extensive but defined list of such terms.
Or, the simple version for dummies:
1st line, 5 syllables
2nd line, 7 syllables
3rd line, 5 syllables
